Renting an Apartment/Application Process:

Please note: If an Amherst apartment is available for June 1, it is a 15 month lease; if it is available for September 1, it is a 12 month lease.

1. Call our office to set up an appointment for viewing of apartment.
   
   
2. Students need to fill out one of the following Pre Application Forms: (Click to obtain) Only one form is needed per group. Please fax, mail or bring the form to our office.
   
   
3. Credit Applications (Click to obtain) are then filled out by parents. Return credit applications by fax, mail or bring the form with deposit to our office (one bank check equal to one months rent payable to Grandonico Properties LLC).
   
   
4. Each student must submit the Dean of Student's Form (Click to obtain) and Housing Reference Form.
   
   
5. Upon receipt of the credit application, the deposit and the housing record the student is notified if approved. The leases are then sent to the applicant (parent).

6. Photo ID of prospective residents must be submitted to our office prior to receiving any keys.
   
   
7. Leases need to be signed, notarized and returned to office within 5 days of receipt with one bank check for security deposit, plus one bank check for last month's rent (each bank check equals one months rent). Please - two separate checks payable to Grandonico Properties LLC.
